106 og 24b image1868 2c green Large Queen on Thin Paper, an impressive imprint block of six, separated horizontally, from Plate positions 41-43, 51-53, with full printer's imprint in left selvedge. Full original gum, with sensible reinforcing between most of the stamps and we note a plate crack in "AN" of the bottom middle stamp. This block has fresh colour and nice overall centering, fine-very fine and quite scarce. Ex. Champagne collection. (Scan a) Unitrade $ 12,000

109 O 24ii image1868 2c blue green Large Queen, used and probably from plate position 10, based on the centering. The cancel is a Hamilton Berri duplex "5" (first of two similar instruments used there, this one used from 1870 to April 1873) where the killer appears to have been crossed-hatched vertically. This is the first example of this we have seen of this variety, as a second duplex was later used, with a different "5" which was later "mutilated" with four thick cross hatches. An interesting stamp. Est $ 50
