AN EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 30-CENT AND 90-CENT NATIONAL BANK NOTE COMPANY UNGRILLED ISSUE ON A COVER. ONLY THREE EXAMPLES OF THE 90-CENT ARE REPORTED ON COVER, AND THIS IS ONE OF ONLY TWO DOMESTIC USAGES. The only example to a foreign destination known to us was offered in our 1974 auction of the Braus collection. It bears a single 90c with a 15c Orange (152) used by the Consolidation Coal Co. to Rio de Janeiro.
